Wait am I the only girl apart from Ancilla here?

We're a couple but she's usually bound, so she's not much of a typist Wink

I've been listening to Grinderman, Nick Cave's newest project - pretty good songs and a little more up-tempo and rockin' than recent music he's created. Like old Bad Seeds or Birthday Party stuff. Any other Nick Cave fans here? I absolutely love his music. His live shows are amazing!

I just found some youtube videos from artists that I love but totally forgot about!

Fiona Apple

Cake

Very contrasting musicians but I love them both nonetheless. Fiona is so adorable and the lyrics of the song are quite kinky from what I could understand. Or maybe its just my pervy mind.. Such a shame she isn't famous in Holland at all. Thank you Youtube.

Hahaha, Cake is nice!

Than you liks also the The presidents of the USA (nice title BTW Twisted Evil ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19McuaPKjI8
Releated; A bit nasty Razz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4yndU6NqUE&feature=related
This one is plain erotic and beautiful! Placebo - Protege moi
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1ova6_placebo-protege-moi-clip-interdit-p_music
And this song is also for more than one reason suitable in this lineup: Cool
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kuZKbXNGDs4
For energy: Blur's song 2(named because the song is exactly 2 mins. Gets me started everytime when I must vacuum, Play this one LOUD!! LOL)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TByqESZekxc
Yeah, Blur has made some nice songs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yci8GY9kUqg&feature=related
Also Red Bull : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFvCx6w_ptE&feature=related = Guano Apes
I liked Fiona Apple, didn't knew hear http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTpvjNn2BUM
She sounded a bit like Tracy Bonham
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaMaVTQKXjc
Or a bit Tori Amos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5A9PiGyxlhU&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jftFhb0xnU&feature=related she did, speaking of Nirvana, also a nice cover of 'Teenspirit' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wcHNZVrxEts&feature=related
Speaking of covers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W91sqAs-_-g
Alanis Morissette does fergie's My Humps. Also very intence singing.
And what do you think of Heater Nova? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPcmMUzo3PA
Youtube is making a lot of people famous these days. Did you know that lily Allen was discovered trough Youtube? She first aired this song on Youtube by herself, before the mainstream radio stations picked the song up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZyTOROlo9E I think if you have the talent that you will surface automatically because of these public music channels on The Internet. I think that this one also is gone be great. Discovered her a few months ago; Terra Naomi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARHyRI9_NB4

But enough with the music for 2night. Speak you all later!

Ahhh Jethro Tull, not many people actually know of him (apart from those who were old enough in the 70s! lol). I know them because my mum listens to them, how I got into bands like Queen, T.Rex etc and subsiquently how I got into Rock music in general.

Nice choice StefanS, but I can live without Jethro Tull, personally I think he improved after he dropped the "Tull" and simply became "Jethro". Razz

Jethro Tull is just great.I love such "special" music.Where else do you hear a flute in a Rocksong. The same with Primus...their maininstrument is the bassguitar not the normal guitar. And maybe some of you know In Extremo, they play middel ages rock and use flutes, harps, bagpipes and such instrument(guitars and such too of course)

If intrested: Cool

@frenetic:Jethro tull is not a Person, its just the Bandname. The singers name is Ian Anderson.

I know this Band through my father,he invited me to a concert from them and now I'm looking forward to the next one.
