Forgot to start a topic on the party that has secured my Easter plans for the past three years; Fetish Evolution Weekend in Essen!
I had an awesomely wild naughty weekend- and seemed I wasn't the only one either.
I wrote an elaborate entry in the blog (free zone) and the diary (FanZone) on it and you can find a picture report in both places too.
Can't wait till next years edition! |

yeah. pretty darn good parties. parties running until late. need time to sleep now.
preparty was a bit mixed: some of the shows had some tech problems, got my cell phone stolen. but in general a great start.
best dinner event I've seen in a long time. great shows, nice atmosphere, the works.
ball night, I know I've said it before, and I will say it again: the venue is the best one I know. Huge rooms, the best sound system I know (since I have sensitive ears, I appreciate that a LOT), great crowd, even better shows. it seems the designers are really putting in an effort every time. somehow we managed to get out of there as "last people standing". Yes, again. I did have the impression there was a smaller crowd than last episodes. Perhaps the fact that the ball was now on Monday, so people had to go to work the next day affected that.
Reality hit merely a few hours later when it was time to check out again. I really appreciated the fact that my drive home is only 2 hours from Essen.
Can I just confirm that Ancilla not only was relaxed the whole weekend for not having to stress out on shows, she looked ab-so-lu-te-ly fabulous! Think you wouldn't mind.
Yes, yes ! Next year!

Oh Yess!! I did enjoy! Only this time we did not have a nice chat..  But thats not a problem, i did had a verry good time with really good memories of last year. I even did make me think for a moment and realise that things are going fast, last year was my second party and now this was number 13...  (13 in total that is)
And so it was time for something new, a little hint about my nickname and my start of my fetish, a swimsuit, but this time a latex one.. (and my catsuit)
And Ancilla, she really did look good, and relaxed, and we meet a few times in a real vanilla outfit ! That was someting new! (even so youre nice in both worlds) Oh euh...did see you at a time late in the basement ... and i saw something ... That was nice.... it seems you enjoyed your time
Next time we chat some more? |

I must agree here too the whole weekend was a huge success!
Took part in the exposition, which was unfortunatly changed to the hotel at the last moment. But the hotel was a nice location since it was booked exclusivly by fetish people attending the FEW.
Got a lot of exposure, and so did Ancilla since she is my main model (lucky me!). And as you could read in the diary even sold two peaces which have been taken to Italy to proudly shine in the only fetish shop of Rome!
The ball was a night of naughtyness. I can confirm what badpakje was saying there! Nice playing was all around in the basement and it was a lust to see who was playing there...
The rest of the location was not that much crowded as usual but the atmosphere there and on all the parties at the FEW was great!
For what the organisation sometimes was lacking the people attending the parties made up for and then added some! |

It was a nice party with good shows. Sadly Ancilla wasn't on stage this time. It seemed like there were only half as many people there as last year which gave me a 'party's almost over' feeling all night. The people that DID attend were very well dressed and I got a lot of chat time in with my friends.
Is it just me or are those fetish Germans really shy? Fow 2 years now, not a single one has come up to me to say hi. I'm not THAT scary am I?
I've heard next year's party will be on a sunday again instead of monday so it should be as crowded as before and we won't have to take time off work to attend  |

Haha no you're not scary at all Katja!!! Germans to tend to be a bit.. well... overly polite. I have a few German friends and from what I understand they have largely had the same upbringing I have experienced in Belgium; "Don't speak unless you're being spoken to" I know Dutch people can sometimes be a bit TOO talkative, but this plugged in mindset does not contribute to social settings.
I think they mean well but are just a bit shy! Go up to them and start a conversation, I'm sure they will be happy you're brave enough to go talk to them.
Oh my... SO happy to hear the party will be back on a Sunday next year I agree that the small amount of visitors gave the party a strange feel. I do suspect that all the real party animals were hiding out in the basement, getting up to naughty things.
Did somebody notice the annoyed looking cleaning crew waiting around for the last people to leave so they could start their shift? That was weird! Not very contributing to the overall fetish-accepting and appreciative atmosphere... |

Very respectful indeed those Germans...we'll have to teach them a lesson hehehe...
I'll have to spend more time in the dungeon instead of yapping my head off in the lounge area. It seems downstairs is where the fun was and I even heard rumours about Ancilla performing some sort of show down there afterall... |

*lol* Those germans are really shy!!! I have also noticed it, but the americans and dutch people in the dungeon were amazing...
However we have currently talked to the owner of the location and it looks really like we will do party next year on sunday after the own Delta party on sunday flopped absolutely!!!
And the lack of organisation will hopefully not being repeated as we are currently working on FetishEvolution Clinic Hell (end of october 2007) and FetishEvolution Weekend 2008 (Eastern 2008). So we have 11 month to prepare the event comparing to this years 3-4 month. I hope at the end this will make a difference.
The Hostess for the event 2008 is also fixed and both flyer should be ready end of may/beginning of june.
I also talked to the first labels for the fashion shows and so on...
What would you think about that we change the hotel? We are discussing it internal right now, if it would be good or not. So what is your opinion on changing the hotel (WITH POOL -to fulfill Kumi's wish ) ?
And here is a pic from Emily Marilyn's blogspot! Also I think she has had a lot of fun too as Emily wrote in his diary:
"Last night was the main night of the Fetish Evolution event. It was the party of the year, hands down! I co-hosted the event with the AMAZING Paul Nathan. A big kiss to him for taking such good care of me! I wore the elaborate red rubber wedding dress in the Vex Clothing fashion show and performed the fire show with Paul Nathan again. After the shows my friends and I snuck down into the dungeon for a night of debauchery."

| Don't know about changing hotels. I would not mind if the whole crowd can still take over a whole hotel. This is still one of the strong cards of FE, the fact that you can live out your fetish all weekend long. Sure, we scare the employees probably (although after a few years they got used to us walking around in the daytime...). But there are a few negatives: the fact we can't use that pool (wow, construction works ongoing for three years!!), we can shock the neighbours, no more shoots around the hotel, open bar hours that are not very convenient, not such a nice area around the hotel, expensive parking, ... So maybe, if we can get the same conditions, a change would be nice. But staying together is more important, I think. |
