| You can take it with you on the plane to Montreal and watch it on the laptop. Or perhaps you will be travelling light? |

Pretty hot stuff. I saw Tokyo Decadance many years ago while working in a video shop, so I was sort of half watching it while working. I'll have to check that out again.
I Tivo'ed "City of God," recently and still haven't watched it. I hear it's fantastic. Anyone? |

Finally got around to watching Tokyo Decadence. The first half of the movie is very nicely done, at times very erotic and occasionally just plain funny. The second half of the movie was horrifically boring. I don't know what the hell happened there, but let's just say it's 40 minutes of my life I will never get back. It's as if the producers had a realisation halfway through the movie "Hey we're making a porn movie here, let's make it vague and boring from now on so we can get away with calling it art!"
The first half I can definatly recommend, but it's like watching two completely different movies in one, so from the time they start showing really long scenes where she's running, just turn of the dvd-player. Seriously. |

Yeah doesn't that suck? I think that all the time when I see bad movies. I'll have to see it again, but now that you mention it, I remember it being kinda slow.
I'm thinking of going to the movie on Friday night, but I have no idea what to see. There's nothing out that just screams out for me to pay to sit and watch it. Anyone see any new movies that they've enjoyed lately? |

| Probably way off theme here but you guys seen Ichi The Killer? Thats pretty good, if a little fucked up, kinda has two or three endings to it but they're not really explained or linked, they just seem to appear. It's like "Ok that was a pretty good ending *pop* oh there's another one, but...what the fuck happened there? *pop* what the hell? There's another!!!" lol |

I have seen it actually and I was just discussing it with friends yesterday! I saw a clip of "Ichi the killer" online and it took me a year to gather the courage to actually watch it, it looked so scary! Then when I eventually saw it, I couldn't stop laughing for 2 hours! It's just so over the top.. |

| Exactly, it's not really a horror, it's just comic book violence and excessiveness. Like the bit where he pours the boiling oil all over the guys back as he's hanging from hooks. That bit made me cringe a bit when you hear it sizzle haha. |

I just saw the trailer and it is good and promising! However, seems like
it is not for sale on dvd yet.... If anyone knows where the movie can be
seen or bought, let me know! |

It's being released first in Canada next week I believe. Hopefully it will be in wider release soon. Looking forward to seeing it!
Saw "No Country For Old Men," last week. Fantastic film! Possibly the Cohen Bros. best one yet. Simple plot, great script, fantastic acting. One of the best movies I've seen in ages. One warning if you have a weak stomach, it's pretty brutal and violent. |

I really like Preaching to the Perverted. A funny made mainstream movie with a big wink to the fetishists and perverts among us....
Also like the vampire fetish horror called Razor Blade Smile. Not high quality, but made with a lot of fun. |

Who else liked preaching to the perverted?
I saw it because it was way on top of my to-watch list, but I didn't like it very much. Good thing the Mistress' wardrobe and make-up kept me entertained for most of the movie or I would have turned it off. It's hard to explain why I hated it, but somehow it just really clashed with my experience in the world of fetish. Maybe if I were to be a vanilla person I would have really liked it. |

| I'd liked it mostly because of the funny scenes. Just to have a good laugh, but not to take seriously too much .... |
